Gatesville ISD Bond Election
Working with the Board of Trustees, teachers, administrators, and community members from across the district, the facilities committee developed a list of requested items to consider for inclusion in a 2019 bond package. Gatesville ISD has been evaluating current facilities, equipment, ongoing enrollment and district priorities with the Board of Trustees to collectively compile a list of items that are included in this bond package.
WHAT DOES THE BOND INCLUDE?
High School Addition/Renovation
New cafeteria and kitchen
Main entrance, security vestibule, administration office
Classrooms, science lab, and collaboration spaces
Outdoor CTE and learning courtyard
Outdoor pavilion/commons area
How will this impact you?
If the bond passes, the estimated tax impact for the average household in Gatesville ISD is $9.38 a month.
NO TAX INCREASE FOR 65 & OLDER
Under state law, the dollar amount of school taxes imposed on the residence homestead of a person 65 years of age or older cannot be increased above the amount paid in the first year after a person turns 65 or is disabled.
